How Affiliate & Ambassador Rewards Actually Work
A live 3-tier commission program, a campus ambassador program still in its early phase, and the honest difference between the two.
How Affiliate & Ambassador Rewards Actually Work
VeriWorkly runs two separate growth programs — Affiliate and Ambassador — and they're at very different stages of being built out. Rather than let the marketing pages get ahead of what's actually live, here's where each one really stands.
Affiliate: fully live
The Affiliate program has a complete dashboard in Studio, covering tiers, referrals, commissions, payouts, and a public leaderboard.
Commission structure is a 3-tier recurring rate: Starter at 2% (0+ conversions), Growth at 3% (10+ conversions), Partner at 5% (50+ conversions). Worth knowing: those conversion counts are informational, not automatic. Nothing in the system bumps your tier on its own — a human on our team reviews and promotes affiliates through the admin console.
Payouts work through Dodo Payments, our billing provider, which — unlike some payment platforms — doesn't offer an automated payout/transfer API, only a read-only settlements list. So payouts are handled out-of-band (bank transfer, etc.) and recorded manually once sent. There's a $25 minimum withdrawal before a payout request can go through.
A few things worth knowing if you're considering joining: signing someone up alone doesn't earn anything — only their paid conversion does. Self-referral is blocked, you get one referral per account for life, and — unlike a lot of affiliate programs that cap attribution at 30 days — there's no expiry window on referral attribution once it's made.
Ambassador: early, and honest about it
The Ambassador program is newer, and intentionally launched the same way Affiliate did — application intake first, full rewards system after.
What's live right now: you can check your ambassador status and submit an application with your college name and graduation year. That's genuinely it on the backend today. The Studio page reflects three states — not yet applied, pending review, and active ambassador — and that's the full loop that currently exists.
What's coming next: an admin-review workflow to move applications from pending to approved (Affiliate already has this; Ambassador doesn't yet), and the full points economy that the public marketing page previews — points for invites and invite conversions, .edu-verified badges, points for content contributions, and a 1,500-point threshold to redeem a 30-day Creator Pro voucher.
We're publishing this now specifically so the gap between "what the marketing page previews" and "what you can actually do today" stays honest as the rewards layer gets built. If you apply now, you're getting in early on a program that's actively being built out, not joining something that's already fully live.
